Greek National Satellite Space Project

AIS User Forum

Open Cosmos invites you to join us on the 27th of June for the Greek National Satellite Space Project: AIS User Forum, where we will engage with the maritime community to discuss the use and development of AIS data derived from the Greek satellite constellation we are building. The Project: Small-Satellites (Measure ID 16855) is implemented by the Hellenic Ministry of Digital Governance with the European Space Agency (ESA) Assistance in the Management and Implementation. The project is part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan ‘Greece 2.0’, which is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), core programme of the European Union-NextGenerationEU.

This forum provides a platform for maritime stakeholders, academics, industry professionals and technology experts to share their insights, challenges and requirements for AIS data. With satellite-based AIS playing a crucial role in vessel tracking, maritime safety and operational efficiency, we want to ensure that the data collected aligns with the needs of users across the sector.

Your input will help us optimise our AIS data, to ensure it delivers maximum value to your community. Whether you are involved in research, shipping, logistics or maritime security – your perspective is vital.

We look forward to your participation in this important discussion.
